Open distance learning offers learning opportunities from colleges and universities worldwide. It usually means no need to visit the learning center. Open distance learning is suitable for the person who wants to study from their home, work place, as per their need, learning time and length of program. Courses offered by universities

These are course objective and outcome, course content, publicity and recruitment, admission procedure, learning support, open learning center, learner welfare, the provider, joint provision, and accreditation. Providers should address all the standards at the time of accreditation.
