Economics Lesson Plans: A Level Courses
People enroll in economics A level distance
learning courses for a variety of reasons. The qualification is usually
required, either by a university
or an employer. Distance learning courses are convenient for working
people because you complete all course work at home, on your own time.
You can study at night or during your lunch hour.
The courses are comprehensive through distance learning. You will learn
the latest theories in economics. The latest issues in the field of
economics are explored, making the coursework relevant to many
professions. Current economic conditions nationally and internationally
are explored.
Economics A level distance learning courses are broken down into two
separate levels, starting with the AS level. When you enroll in the
course, you will receive the course materials and assignments. For some
programs, you will be required to purchase an additional textbook. When
you complete the course, you must take the required exams consisting of
a practical exam and three written papers.
When you have successfully completed the AS level, you move on to the A2
level course. Economic concepts are explored more in depth in this
course. When you have completed the nine assignments, you will sit for
the A level economics exam. This exam is offered twice each year, in
January and June. The exam consists of three written papers. |
